Montonn and Mix Architekt mixed the Summer Camp by Sretsis Show in Bangkok this past weekend! The show featured performances by Summer Camp, Chladni Chandi, and Wisut and Ikuko. Thanks again to SuperSweet for having us. We hope to be mixing more live shows soon! 

MNTNN is back in the studio working on some productions. Having taken a break from electronic music, Montonn has returned as MNTNN, and is now preparing some tasty tracks for release. Posts soon! 

After 4 years in the making at Samutprakarn Sound, Two Charusorn’s project “Epic Holiday” is finally going to mastering at Peerless Mastering this coming week.  We will be posting some audio samples on this page soon. We are also in the process of putting up a site for the project, so once it is up and ready, we’ll be sure to let you know about it. 

Montonn has just finished mixing a new Slot Machine track called OST. The song will be featured in a film directed by Dan Worawech, and should be in theaters in the upcoming month.  Montonn and Slot Machine are also about to start production on the World Futsal Cup anthem, as Thailand will be hosting the tournament this year, and the band have been chosen to write the theme song for the event. We’ve just gotten a confirmation that Dan Jira will also be performing at Zoom Festival Pattaya on the 30th at 11:30pm!! It’s going to be a heavy family affair out on the beach this weekend. See you there. 

Katsue is finally back in the studio!

It’s been a few years since Montonn and Joni have worked together as Katsue, and even though there have been collaborations on other projects between the two of them, we are as excited as ever for their upcoming releases! We hope you’re all as excited as we are!

MNTNN will be DJ’ing at DEMO tomorrow for the Mercedes Benz launch event starting at 7:30pm. Attendance should be free, so for those interested in techno and cars, please come by! 

We’re almost half way into the year again and we at Samutprakarn Sound wanted to send out a little thank you to everyone that has supported us whether it be at our parties, events, or through our work over the last few months. It looks to be a bigger year for us and we hope you’ll stay close by and join us for a whole lot more fun. 

Some updates of what’s been going on..

PrahJaoJord played their first show to 20,000 people on Halloween at Rachamangkala Stadium. The show was completely stunning and we’re hoping to have an opportunity to bring the performance to a wider audience throughout the country and hopefully expand to tour asia. Video Clips are up in our videos section. 

The LESSON series of parties were extremely successful and we plan on taking the concept further by trying out themes and maybe even switching venues. Whether or not we continue with the LESSON name is undecided, but you can be sure that we’ll be pushing the limits of sound, sight, and experience in our creation. Stay tuned for more!

Montonn’s latest productions for Slot Machine have rocketed them to the top of the charts with the singles, “Jahn Jao” and “Sound of Silence”, both reaching the number spots on all the big local radio stations. The album is now out and available in stores.
