We have a few shows coming up this Month.

First off, Montonn will be playing a DJ set for the Marc Jacobs launch event at Siam Paragon on Wednesday the 3rd of April. The event is open to the public and starts at 6pm.

On Friday the 5th Montonn will be performing at the annual Zoom festival in Pattaya at the Bali Hai Pier. 

PrahJaoJord will be performing shows on April 13th and 14th for the Smirnoff Songkran celebration at RCA at Route 66 and at Slim. 

This Thursday, Samutprakarn Sound presents Argenis Brito Live all the way from Berlin. We’ll be hosting the show at Grease on Sukhumvit Soi 49, entry is free and festivities start at 10 pm and go till late. Be sure to come out and join us!

Katsue have just released a teaser video from their performance at Sonic last December. The short clip shows a bit of their setup and offers a glimpse into their performance atmosphere. For those of you who haven’t heard their music, be sure to check out their new single at samutprakarnsound.bandcamp.com. Celebrating the launch of their latest single “Cut and Run”, Katsue will be hosting a show at Sonic on the 15th of December. Come on by to check out the bands performance and possibly have the chance to pick up some interesting merchandise on the night. Katsue will be performing at Smith this coming Saturday, the 1st of December, as part of their warm-up run of shows. The band will be playing new material as well as songs from their previous album “And So It Goes…”. Montonn and Joni will be accompanied by Ofek and Top as additional musicians while Tim “Mix Architekt” Walter will be handling mixing duties. Tickets are 400b with one free drink and a free CD. Doors at 10pm

Montonn is bringing it back this September with his LESSONS party. It’s been almost 2 years since the last edition of this event, and we’re very excited about this one. Held at a new event space on RCA above Cosmic Cafe, this stripped down tech party aims to provide a euphoric musical experience for all lovers of techno and house.

Prah Jao Jord made a surprise appearance this last weekend at the Smirnoff Midnight Circus event alongside world reknown photographer David LaChapelle, Miike Snow DJ Christian Karlsson, and The Toxic Avenger. We’re only a week away from our trip to Sonar Festival in Barcelona! Before heading out, we’ve made available MNTNN’s latest mix which is up for grabs right here on Mix Cloud. Now with track listing and links to purchase music if interested! 

For the first episode of Tweakers, Koichi and his crew pay a visit to Samutprakarn Sound to speak to Montonn Jira about some of his production gear and how he got into making music. Aside from a few short demo’s on some of his gear, there’s also a little improv performance at the end, featuring the Elektron Octatrack, MachineDrum, Moog Voyager, the noteplex app, and the trusty Allen and Heath DB4 mixer. 

Montonn has just composed a piece for the latest Team Farang video which features the worlds top ranked free runners showing off their skills and barely living to tell the tales of their experiences! As one of Bangkok’s most highly respected music aficionados, Montonn Jira has been invited to speak and perform at the Sensation Festival Press Launch Event in preparation for it’s Asian debut later this year.

Recently embracing his role as “Event Dj and Performer”, Montonn Jira was graciously invited to perform a short set at the Longchamp flagship store grand opening event in Bangkok, Thailand. The party took place on the 29th of May and played host to a variety of local celebrities.

Montonn and Mix Architekt mixed the Summer Camp by Sretsis Show in Bangkok this past weekend! The show featured performances by Summer Camp, Chladni Chandi, and Wisut and Ikuko. Thanks again to SuperSweet for having us. We hope to be mixing more live shows soon! 

MNTNN is back in the studio working on some productions. Having taken a break from electronic music, Montonn has returned as MNTNN, and is now preparing some tasty tracks for release. Posts soon! 

After 4 years in the making at Samutprakarn Sound, Two Charusorn’s project “Epic Holiday” is finally going to mastering at Peerless Mastering this coming week.  We will be posting some audio samples on this page soon. We are also in the process of putting up a site for the project, so once it is up and ready, we’ll be sure to let you know about it.
